"This is a very unique hotel, it has a real 70s vibe however, don't get me wrong it also has a real charm.
From the elevator down to the beach, to the tropical plants, to the hand paintings to the live music at night. Very quaint. Dinners and breakfasts were good as well.
I did find they didn't speak much English and catered more to older German clients.
Oh and it does have a nice view of Stromboli at night "
"The grounds were beautiful. The pool was warm and clean..a car is needed as there is not many places that are safe to walk to. The description says there is a beach, there is no beach on property or walkable. We had an amazing dinner at Portale nearby recommended and arranged by owner. The gardens are spectacular and the views are incomparable.
It’s far enough away from the town center thanks makes it a quiet retreat but close enough to get to within a few minutes."
"Beautiful, quiet retreat just a short 5 min taxi ride into bustling Tropea. We had 3 rooms but some were much smaller. The resort is a retreat for peace. But note: no store on site, limited access to food only during meal times & the beach is a climb down, very small & no service only chairs & umbrellas. Still a great spot. Pool is beautiful!"
